The horizontal axis shows the economic significance, the vertical axis the academic and industrial research competence in Switzerland. Depending on their axis values, the technologies are assigned to the four quadrants stars (top right), self-propellers (bottom right), niches (upper left) and hopefuls (bottom left). 

How have the positions of the technologies developed since the last edition? The filter "shifts only" provides the answer: Only those technologies are displayed for which a significant change on one of the two axes was observed.
