European Cyber Security Challenge 2015
The results of the first "European Cyber Security Challenge" – a competition for young cyber talent – were announced in 22 October 2015. Each of the six participating countries sent ten young people to Lucerne, where they had to complete and present IT security tasks within set time limits. The Swiss team was awarded third place, after Austria and Germany.
The awards ceremony was held at the Kulturcasino in Bern in the presence of invited guests from business, politics and the military.
SATW worked with EDA to aid the Swiss Cyber Storm association in organising and running the European Cyber Security Challenge 2015.
